Standards for Regulators and Accredited Registers - categories

In March 2026, we introduced a combined set of Standards for both regulators and Accredited Registers. These Standards are a pivotal component of how we deliver our mission and achieve our vision. They are the instruments we use to hold the organisations we oversee to account. But more than that, the Standards are key to driving improvement by challenging organisations to change. We have six categories (plus an additional Standard for assessing Accredited Registers). These categories cover the core functions of the regulators and registers we oversee and/or accredit as well as Standards covering governance, equality, diversity and inclusion and how we expect these organisations collaborate and engage with stakeholders.
