The BAcC is the professional body for traditional acupuncturists. British Acupuncture Council members are trained in one or more traditionally based system of acupuncture: such as TCM, Five Elements, Stems and Branches, Japanese Meridian Therapy, and many others.

At the BAcC's 2025 full renewal assessment, we issued one Condition on its accreditation, which was due to be completed by 4 February 2026. The report below sets out the actions taken by the BAcC to meet this Condition.
