Institute of Trichologists
The Institute of Trichologists (IOT) holds a register of trichologists who diagnose and treat hair and scalp conditions. Registrants work primarily in private practice, helping clients with conditions such as hair loss and scalp disorders, and refer to other healthcare professionals when prescribed treatments are needed.

IOT Targeted Review Status
Following our most recent annual check we initiated a Targeted Review relating to 5 minimum requirements across Standards 2, 3, 5, 6 and 7. Following our review we issued five new Conditions. Our report on how the IOT addressed the Conditions can be downloaded here:
