Acupuncture involves the use of fine needles in the skin on targeted areas of the body to support wellbeing. Acupuncturists are not regulated by law in the UK, however there are voluntary registers. Choose an acupuncturist accredited by the PSA to ensure they adhere to good standards of practice.
The British Acupuncture Council (BAcC) is a self-regulatory body for the practice of traditional acupuncture in the UK. The register is accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
