Statement on organisational use of Artificial Intelligence

Our Use of Artificial Intelligence (AI)

The Professional Standards Authority (PSA) uses artificial intelligence (AI) tools to support activities such as drafting, summarising, researching and analysing information.

AI helps our staff work more efficiently, but it does not replace human judgement. Staff remain responsible for the accuracy and quality of their work, and all significant decisions and official PSA outputs are reviewed and approved by appropriately authorised members of staff.

We are committed to using AI responsibly, protecting personal and confidential information, complying with legal and regulatory requirements, and maintaining appropriate oversight of AI use.

The PSA does not use AI to make fully automated decisions.
