Professional Standards Authority consultation on strengthening our approach to safeguarding with Accredited Registers
We have previously identified a gap in safeguarding as Accredited Registers have experienced challenges in accessing criminal record checks for their registrants. We are running this consultation to look at introducing requirements to request criminal records checks and want to better understand how introducing these changes would affect the Accredited Registers, practitioners, members of the public and people with criminal records
