Raising a Concern

Raising concerns about the regulators

We would like to hear about your experiences with the health and care professional regulators. We will keep all the information that we receive from you secure.

We will take your information into account when we:
  • Audit the initial stages of the regulators’ fitness to practise processes
  • Review the regulators' final fitness to practise decisions
  • Carry out the performance review of the regulators
  • Carry out projects on health and care professional regulation

Raising concerns about voluntary registers

The Professional Standards Authority for Health and Social Care will only consider complaints that an accredited voluntary register is failing to meet the Authority’s Accreditation Standards.

We also take relevant concerns into account when considering an application for accreditation or renewal.  Find out more about our Call For Information.
